ORGANIZATION<\/h2>\n<p>The race is organized by A.S.D. nscBellagioSkyteam, in collaboration with the Bellagio Alpini Association, Bellagio Pro Loco, Le aquile Civenna, US Bellagina, and with the support of the Municipality of Bellagio.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 2. RACE<\/h2>\n<p>The Bellagioskyrace will take place on October 19th, 2025, starting, at 9 AM, and finishing at the Lungolago Europa in Bellagio. The race covers a distance of 29 km with a positive elevation gain of 1850 meters. The race is the sole event of the Absolute Skyrunning Championship in the Skyrace discipline.<br \/>\nRegistration for the race implies acceptance, in all its parts and without reservation, of these regulations. By registering, each competitor commits to fully comply with the Official Race Regulations, releasing the organizers from any civil or criminal liability for any accident, for damages to persons and\/or property caused by or to them, which may occur during the event.<br \/>\nParticipants should be aware of the race\u2019s length and the difficulties inherent in a nature race and be adequately trained to face it.<br \/>\nThe TSR includes a passage at 1680 meters above sea level and, in some sections, the track conditions are challenging: being a mountain race, weather conditions can change suddenly, and wind, cold, and rain can quickly disrupt the balance and progress of the race.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 3. COURSE MODIFICATIONS OR CANCELLATION<\/h2>\n<p>The organization reserves the right to modify the course or the location of aid and refreshment stations at any time without prior notice to the athletes. In case of adverse weather conditions (cold, rain, high risk of thunderstorms, or other) and for safety reasons, the organization reserves the right to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Postpone or cancel the start<\/li>\n<li>Modify or shorten the course<\/li>\n<li>Suspend the race during its progress or change the time barriers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>ART. 4. CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION<\/h2>\n<p>To be admitted to the competition, competitors must meet all the following conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participation is allowed for both male and female athletes with a valid medical certification for competitive sports similar to Skyrunning (B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6 certifications &#8211; high cardiovascular effort sports)<\/li>\n<li>Possess a valid athletic medical certificate. The certificate must be submitted in a certified copy along with the registration form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By registering, competitors certify that they are in physical and mental condition to face the race and acknowledge being informed of the risks and difficulties of the course.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possess a FISKY card (it is possible to subscribe to a daily FISKY card during registration at a cost of \u20ac5.00).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>ART. 5. REGISTRATIONS<\/h2>\n<p>Registrations can be made directly through the Endu portal and following the instructions on the website www.bellagioskyrace.it on the REGISTRATIONS page.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 6. REGISTRATION METHOD<\/h2>\n<p>Registrations for the races can be made online on the website www.bellagioskyrace.it at the registration link. In addition to Paypal payments, credit card, direct bank transfer, bank transfer, Satispay, and Sofort are used.<\/p>\n<p>AT AFFILIATED STORES<br \/>\nIn case of registrations made at affiliated stores (Radaelli Sport and 3Passi Morbegno\/Patagonia), by filling out the online forms, it is necessary to submit a copy of the medical certificate and deliver the completed form to confirm the registration.<\/p>\n<p>REGISTRATIONS FOR THE BELLAGIO SKYRACE WILL CLOSE ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16TH 2025.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 7. MANDATORY EQUIPMENT<\/h2>\n<p>All athletes are advised to equip themselves with the following materials for the race:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kway<\/li>\n<li>Trail running shoes<\/li>\n<li>Mandatory water bottle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>ART. 8. RESPONSIBILITY<\/h2>\n<p>By registering, each competitor commits to respecting these regulations and releases the organizers from any civil or criminal liability for any accident, damage to persons or property caused by or to them, which may occur during the event called \u201cBellagio Skyrace.\u201d The race will be conducted in accordance with these regulations, any modifications, and notices published on the website www.bellagioskyrace.it.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 9. BIB AND RACE PACK DELIVERY<\/h2>\n<p>The delivery of bibs and race packs will take place on Saturday, October 26 from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the Bellagio sports hall.<br \/>\nOn Sunday morning, October 27, from 7:00 am to 8:30 am.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 10. PUNCHING AND START CONTROLS<\/h2>\n<p>Bib with chip is provided, and competitors will be automatically punched at the start.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 11. CHECKPOINTS<\/h2>\n<p>There will be checkpoints along the course. The organization reserves the right to conduct checks at any point along the course without prior notice. A final checkpoint is scheduled at the finish line, which will allow timekeepers to establish the final rankings.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 12. SAFETY AND ASSISTANCE<\/h2>\n<p>Safety and Medical Assistance will be provided by the organization\u2019s staff and a medical-sanitary in the starting area. Each athlete is obliged, under penalty of disqualification, to assist other athletes in difficulty and to report to the organization\u2019s staff any situations requiring rescue or assistance. One or more volunteers from the organization will ensure the closure of the race, following the last competitor. This is the so-called \u201csweeper service.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 13. REFRESHMENT POINTS<\/h2>\n<p>There are SEVEN refreshment points along the course, plus a final refreshment point. As a plastic-free event, the organization does not provide plastic cups, and each athlete must necessarily carry a water bottle to refill at the refreshment stations.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 14. MAXIMUM TIME<\/h2>\n<p>There will be three time barriers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rifugio Martina at 2h 00\u2019 from the start<\/li>\n<li>Ponciv at 3h40\u2032<\/li>\n<li>Paumm at 4h40\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Athletes who exceed these time limits will be stopped and excluded from the race to safeguard their safety. Organization staff will be strict in stopping athletes who arrive at the time barrier beyond the maximum time, thus excluding them from the competition.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 15. WITHDRAWAL<\/h2>\n<p>In case of withdrawal, the competitor must promptly inform the organization\u2019s staff:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the nearest checkpoint manager<\/li>\n<li>the \u201csweeper\u201d service volunteers closing the race<\/li>\n<li>the organization\u2019s staff at the finish area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>ART. 16. PENALTIES AND DISQUALIFICATIONS<\/h2>\n<p>The organization staff on the course is authorized to monitor compliance with the entire regulation and, above all, respect for the environment.<br \/>\nThe race jury may disqualify a competitor in case of non-compliance with the regulations, particularly for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bib exchange<\/li>\n<li>Missing a checkpoint<\/li>\n<li>Short-cutting the course<\/li>\n<li>Not assisting another competitor in difficulty<\/li>\n<li>Abandoning personal material along the course<\/li>\n<li>Polluting or degrading the area by leaving waste along the course<\/li>\n<li>Disrespectful behavior towards organization members or volunteers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A minimum penalty of one hour applies for all other breaches of the regulations.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 17. COMPLAINT JURY<\/h2>\n<p>Complaints submitted by athletes will be judged by a jury composed of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Timekeeping service manager<\/li>\n<li>Members of the Nsc Bellagioskyteam council<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Decisions will be made compatible with the race\u2019s obligations, on all matters of dispute or events occurring during the race. The adopted resolutions are final.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 18. RANKINGS AND PRIZES<\/h2>\n<p>As a single event of the Italian Championship, athletes registered with FISKY (Italian Skyrunning Federation) affiliated clubs will be awarded and named Italian champions.<br \/>\nAll athletes will receive a race pack. Prizes are awarded to the top fifteen athletes in the men\u2019s overall standings and the top fifteen athletes in the women\u2019s overall standings.<br \/>\nAdditionally, the first, second, and third-place athletes in the master categories will be awarded medals. The category winners of the Italian Championship (not the overall M\/F winner) will also receive a prize in kind.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 19. CITY STREETS<\/h2>\n<p>All streets in the city area will NOT be closed to traffic. The road traffic remains open. Absolute respect and observance of the Highway Code are mandatory. Traffic officers will oversee five crossings during the descent phase. In the absence of such an officer, the competitor must respect the right of way and not obstruct city traffic.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 20. VILLA MELZI GARDENS<\/h2>\n<p>In the final part of the course, athletes will enter the gardens of Villa Melzi, serving as the walkway towards the finish<\/p>\n<p>line in the last 700 meters. Entry is permitted only for athletes with a visibly worn bib. Each runner will receive a complimentary ticket in the race pack to visit the Villa Melzi gardens either after the race or the day before.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 21. COURSE ASSISTANCE<\/h2>\n<p>The organization will provide race assistance with the support of Alpine Rescue in the most challenging sections of the course, as well as the 118 emergency services if necessary. For matters not specified in these regulations, refer to the FISKY-ISF 2021 regulations.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 22. TIMING<\/h2>\n<p>Timing with chip is provided, managed by OTC.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 23. MASS START<\/h2>\n<p>The start will be mass start at 9:00 am from Lungolago Europa. The grid lineup is free. A preferential lane will be maintained to reserve the front rows for top runners or those with the competitive requirements to be included in the front lineup.<\/p>\n<h2>ART. 24. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING<\/h2>\n<p>By registering for the event, participants declare to accept that images, photos, and\/or videos may be used to publicize the event and\/or the area for related purposes, and that their personal data will be included in the organizing association&#8217;s archives. These data will be stored and kept strictly confidential by the organizing committee and will be used for purposes related to the race, in accordance with Law No. 675\/96 of 31.12.1996. These data can be corrected or deleted at any time.
