• Art. 1. Organization
    The race is organized by the A.S.D. nscBellagioSkyteam, in collaboration with local associations and with the contribution of the Municipality of Bellagio.
  • Art. 2. Race
    The Bellagioskyrace will take place on October 25, 2020, with an online departure from the Church Square of San Giacono in the center of Bellagio. The race has a development of 28 km which unfolds on mountain paths that surround the peninsula and with a positive elevation gain of 1850 meters.
    Registration for the race implies acceptance, in all its parts and without reservations, of this regulation. By registering, each competitor undertakes to fully comply with the aforementioned Official Competition Regulations, freeing the organizers from any civil or criminal liability for any eventual accident, for damage to persons and / or things derived or caused by him, which may occur for the entire duration of the event.
    To participate, it is good to take note, even if it is not an ultra race, of the length and difficulties that a race in nature entails and be adequately trained to face it.
    The TSR includes a passage at an altitude of 1680 meters above sea level and, in some stretches, the conditions of the track are demanding: since it is a race in the mountains, the weather conditions can change suddenly and wind, cold, rain quickly upset the balance and progress of the race.
  • Art. 3. Route changes or cancellation
    The organization reserves the right to change the route or location of the rescue and refreshment posts at any time, without notice to athletes. In case of adverse weather conditions (cold, rain, severe thunderstorm risk or other) and for safety reasons, the organization reserves the right to:
    Postpone or cancel the departure;
    Change or shorten the route;
    Suspend the race during its development or change its time barriers.
    In case of cancellation of the race, the registration fee will not be refunded
  • Art. 4. Admission conditions
    In order to be admitted to the competition, competitors must meet all the following conditions:
    Be in possession of a valid medical certificate for athletics. The certificate must be delivered in a certified copy together with the registration form.
    By registering, the competitors certify that they are in physical and mental conditions such as to be able to face the race and acknowledge that they have documented the risks and difficulties of the course.

    Registrations can be made directly through the Endu portal by following the instructions on the website www.bellagioskyrace.it
  • Art. 6. How to register
    Registration for the Bellagino weekend races can be made online on the website www.bellagioskyrace.it at the race registration link. In addition to payments with Paypal, credit card, direct bank transfer, bank transfer, satispay, sofort are used.
    From the link you will be directed to the Endu portal where you can register by following easy instructions.
    In the case of registrations made in affiliated stores (Radaelli Sport and 3Passi Morbegno / Patagonia) by filling in the online forms, to formalize the registration it is necessary to deliver a copy of the medical certificate.

    All athletes are advised to equip themselves for the test with the following material:
  • Art. 8. Insurance
    The organization will take out civil liability insurance throughout the trial period. This insurance does not cover any research or transport costs by helicopter or other exceptional means, the costs of which therefore remain the responsibility of the athlete. Participation in the event takes place under the total responsibility of the competitors, who, with their registration, renounce any appeal against the organizers in case of damage and further consequences that may arise during the race. For those who are not FISKY members, it is advisable to sign a day pass at a cost of € 5 to be added to the registration cost.
  • Art. 9. Delivery of the bib numbers
    The bibs and race packs will be delivered on the day of the race and on the day before the race at the Bellagio sports hall according to the timetables that you will find on our dedicated website.
  • Art. 10. Competitors’ personal effects
    It is possible to use the changing rooms of the gym and, it is recommended to take away bags with personal items inside.
  • Art. 11. Punching and checks at the start
    The bib with chip is provided and the competitors will be automatically punched at the start.
  • Art. 12. Checkpoints
    Checkpoints are provided along the way. The organization reserves the right, however, to carry out checks at any point along the route, without notice. A final checkpoint is scheduled on arrival which will allow timekeepers to establish the final rankings.
  • Art. 13. Security and assistance
    Safety and Medical Assistance will be ensured by staff of the organization and by a medical doctor in the departure area. Each athlete has the obligation, under penalty of disqualification, to assist other athletes in any difficulty and to report to the organization staff situations that require rescue or help. One or more volunteers from the organization will ensure the closure of the race and follow the last competitor. The so-called broom service.
  • Art. 14. Refreshments
    Refreshments will be provided with drinks and groceries. Plastic cups will be available at the refreshment points: it is forbidden to throw empty glasses over a hundred meters from the refreshment point. Penalty disqualification of the competitor. Upon arrival there will be a refreshment point with food and drinks.
  • Art. 15. Maximum time
    A time gate will be set up at the Martina refuge of 2h 10 ‘from the departure. ; athletes who pass beyond this limit, in order to protect their safety, will be stopped, excluded from the race. The staff of the Organization will be adamant in blocking the athletes who will arrive at the time gate after the maximum time, effectively excluding them from the competition.
  • Art. 16. Withdrawal
    In case of withdrawal, the competitor must, compulsorily and promptly, notify the organization staff:
    the person in charge of the nearest control post
    the “broom” volunteers who finish the race
    the organization’s staff in the arrival area.
  • Art. 17. Penalties and Disqualifications
    The staff of the organization along the way is authorized to check compliance with the entire regulation and, above all, respect for the environment.
    The jury of the race can decree the disqualification of a competitor in case of non-compliance with the regulation and in particular of:
    Bib number exchange;
    Failure to go to a checkpoint;
    Cutting the path;
    Failure to assist another competitor in case of difficulty;
    Abandonment of own material along the way;
    Pollution or degradation of the place with abandonment of waste on the route;
    Disrespectful behavior towards members of the organization or volunteers;
    A minimum penalty of one hour is applied for all other deficiencies in the regulation.
  • Art. 18. Jury for complaints
    The complaints submitted by the athletes will be judged by a jury composed of:
    Timing Service Manager;
    board members Nsc Bellagioskyteam.
    The decisions will be made compatibly with the obligations of the race, on all reasons of contention or events that occurred during the race. The resolutions adopted are final.
  • Art. 19. Rankings and prizes
    All athletes will receive a race pack. Prizes are foreseen for the first fifteen athletes of the absolute male classification and the first fifteen athletes of the female classification. Prizes are only available to the first M / Fs of the various categories divided by age group.

  • Art.20 City streets
    All roads in the city area will NOT be closed to traffic. Road traffic is open. Absolute respect and observance of the Highway Code applies. Traffic workers will supervise road crossings which will be 5 during the downhill phase. In the absence of this employee, the competitor is obliged to respect the precedence and not to hinder city traffic.
  • Art. 21. Gardens of Villa Melzi
    In the last part of the route, athletes are expected to enter the gardens of Villa Melzi, who will be the walkway towards the finish line in the last 700 meters. The entrance is only for athletes with a bib visible on the chest. For those wishing to enter and visit the gardens, they can do so by paying the respective ticket that is € 6.00 for the day of the race.
  • Art. 22. Image rights
    During the test, each competitor expressly renounces the use of rights to his own image, as well as renounces any appeal in this regard against the organizer.
  • Art. 23. Personal data treatment
    By registering for the race, moreover, each athlete explicitly authorizes the organization to process their personal data, pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003 “Personal data protection code”. Furthermore, in light of the new EU regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (GDPR), the data will be stored and processed in the manner envisaged.
  • Art.24 Shuttle service
    A shuttle / bus service will be set up that takes you from the building (parking area) to the starting point of arrival in the center of Bellagio.
    Registration will be considered completed only when all the required documentation has been received by the organizing company.

    Timing with chips is provided, managed by OTC.
  • Art.26 Skyrunning Italian Series
    The Bellagio Skyrace 2019 is the last test of the National Skyrunning Italian Series circuit. All runners and enthusiasts with a medical certificate can participate in the race. For those who are not registered for any company, it is mandatory to sign a FISKY day pass at a cost of € 5.00. Otherwise, membership is required from a FISKY affiliated company.
    It is possible to make a Fisky daily membership on the day of the race by reporting it to segreteria@bellagioskyrace.it with the following subject “FISKY card”.
    In this way, the organization can take care of the requested cards. The cost is € 5.00.
  • Art 27 The Departure online
    The start will take place at 9.15 am from Piazza della Chiesa di San Giacomo at the same time for both races. The grid deployment is free for both Half and Skyrace members. A preferential lane will be maintained in order to reserve the first rows for skyrunners considered top runners or with competitive requirements that can be included in the front row deployment.
  • Art 28 Privacy Law
    The processing of personal data will take place only for purposes functional to the activity of the ASD BELLAGIOSKYTEAM, pursuant to article 13 of law 675 of 31/12/1996 and subsequent amendments, regarding the sending of information relating to the sport of interest, the use of photos, filmed images deriving from participation in the event.
